Be aware of what’s outside of your comfort zone

Whenever I am feeling moments of discomfort, that means true change is happening to me. This is one of the reason why I needed to quit my hometown. I understood that having the same routine daily will kill me softly. I look at my comfort zone as my enemy, certainly trying to avoid me to be who I was meant to be.

Breaking a habit, taking risks for a new business , a new adventure, making new connections, pushing boundaries, won’t be easy. However what is fun about having the same day, the same life for 85 years. Since the day I left the “comfortable” France for Indonesia.

I am always seeking out for new fresh experiences especially to help me to be more creative, develop my emotional intelligence. And humble my spirit by meeting new people, facing new perspectives, changing environments.

Comfortable in discomfort

The journey changes you, it always change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your heart, and on your body. Sometimes our lives are not as bright as the day. Sometimes we lose ourselves in the darkness without a compass to find our way out. But you need the dark to see the light. And remember, don’t get lost in between. Find your balance.

Stepping up when it’s hard, painful builds your character.


What is it like to be inside your comfort Zone? 

1. Fear of the unknown 

Your comfort zone is a place where everything feels familiar and predictable, providing a sense of security. Stepping outside of it introduces uncertainty, and it’s natural to feel afraid or anxious about what lies ahead. Even when you consciously acknowledge the need for change, fear can hold you back from taking action.

2. Longing For Comfort 

Longing for Comfort: The comfort zone has a strong allure because it offers convenience and safety. It’s only natural for us to want to stay within its boundaries. However, remaining in the comfort zone means missing out on growth and personal development. Sometimes we overlook the risks of playing it safe and end up missing out on the amazing possibilities life has to offer.

3. A fixed mindset

Having the same mindset convinces you that you’re incapable of achieving certain things. It hampers your motivation to learn and develop new skills. Instead, you use your current abilities as an excuse to stay within your comfort zone, avoiding challenges and difficulties.

Being out of your comfort zone requires efforts and to be consistently active. For instance, getting out of your comfort zone is, no matter what will happen to you, can only make you stronger. And gain in maturity to reach your next level in your professional and personal life. Be brave to say good bye comfort zone.

1. The Power of Stepping Outside Your Comfort Zone

Acknowledge that getting out of your comfort zone is a good thing. If you don’t believe that first, the rest won’t work.

2. Understand your fear

We all of us feel anxious or have some fear, and this is normal. Once you identify your fear, understand them, you will be more able to face them. After it have faith and take the first step that will liberate you and give you the courage to move.

3. Go 100%. 

Ain’t easy to live outside of your comfort zone. You are just experiencing it, it’s your first time. You might try to step back and go for the safe move. But remember when you jump you don’t jump with one feet but with both. Go for it, you have nothing to loose.

4. Acknowledge your courage

It is important for you when you achieved something important to celebrate it. self love, self esteem is important to give you more courage to achieve more and more in your life. Appreciate yourself for the bravery.

5.Celebrating Your Wins and Amplifying Your Strengths

Reflect on you before and you now :  Compare yourself with yourself yesterday. It will help you celebrate your victories and focus on your strengths.

6. Every day is a new life

Every day is an opportunity to get new knowledge.

7. Practice Meditation 

By incorporating meditation into your routine, you can cultivate a sense of calm, increase self-awareness, build resilience, enhance focus, and manage stress. 

Travel to me is the best cure against regret, surely travelling will teach you empathy, new values, stuff your eyes with wonder and leave you speechless. This is why you need to seek for discomfort to follow your dreams.
