The Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park is one of Indonesia’s most popular tourist destinations, offering numerous historical and spiritual sites. Located on Mount Semeru, an active volcano, visitors are encouraged to hike through lush rainforests and grasslands as well as visit remote villages. Onsite activities include hiking and four-wheel driving through terrain covered with volcanoes.
To get there from Bali, visitors can take a domestic flight via Ngurah Rai International Airport or take a ferry or speedboat ride from Denpasar.

You’ve heard of The Great Wall of China, but have you heard of The Great Wall of Komodo? This giant lizard is what drew me to Komodo National Park. And it was one of my favorite parts about traveling to Indonesia. This park is part of an archipelago that stretches 1,800 miles (3,000 km) across much of eastern Indonesia and offers some astounding scenery.
Flores offers also a unique cultural immersion experience. In the highlands, you can visit Wae Rebo Village, a remote settlement tucked away in the mountains. This is an opportunity to learn about the indigenous Manggarai people, as you stay in traditional cone-shaped mbaru niang houses. The village provides breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making Flores a perfect destination for those seeking a blend of nature, adventure, and cultural exploration.
The Komodo Island, the largest island in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia, lies between Sumbawa and Flores.
Pink Beach : An amazing natural wonder for snorkeling
Make sure to visit Pink Beach, it is truly a paradise underwater for divers and snorkelers, with coral reefs, manta ray and many others species of fish.
