Bintan is a small, tropical island just off Singapore’s southern coast. Some of Bintan’s most popular attractions include Tanjung Uban Beach and Singkep Island ; where you can see plenty of marine life. Including turtles, dolphins and manta rays. There are plenty of activities to do on land too. For example you can go hiking at Bukit Pucak or swimming with colorful fish around Nipah or Ombilin lakes. Bintan also has a diverse landscape featuring mangrove forests and volcanic hillsides. The city of Tanjung Pinang features amazing markets, mosques and boutiques as well as nightlife along Jalan Besar.

Bukit Lawang, a serene village nestled on the eastern side of Gunung Leuser National Park in North Sumatra, is more than just a charming destination for nature lovers. It is also home to a renowned orangutan rehabilitation center that has been working tirelessly since 1973 to protect and preserve the dwindling population of these majestic primates.

The Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park is one of Indonesia’s most popular tourist destinations, offering numerous historical and spiritual sites. Located on Mount Semeru, an active volcano, visitors are encouraged to hike through lush rainforests and grasslands as well as visit remote villages. Onsite activities include hiking and four-wheel driving through terrain covered with volcanoes. The park boasts a natural hot spring known as Air Terjun Prahu that features pools of varying temperatures (ranging from 37°C to 48°C). To get there from Bali, visitors can take a domestic flight via Ngurah Rai International Airport or take a ferry or speedboat ride from Denpasar.
2. Komodo National Park (Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia)
You’ve heard of The Great Wall of China, but have you heard of The Great Wall of Komodo? This giant lizard is what drew me to Komodo National Park. And it was one of my favorite parts about traveling to Indonesia. This park is part of an archipelago that stretches 1,800 miles (3,000 km) across much of eastern Indonesia and offers some astounding scenery. Flores Island is a huge island and there is so much to see. The tri-colored volcanic, lakes of Kelimutu, the traditional villages of Bajawa and the spider web rice field in Ruteng.
The Indonesian island of Flores means ‘Flowers’ in Portuguese.The Komodo Island, the largest island in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia, lies between Sumbawa and Flores and has an area of . It is part of the Lesser Sunda Islands which together with the Greater Sunda Islands to the west, form the Maluku Islands.
Flores is absolutely one of of my favorite best places to visit in Indonesia.
1. Raja Ampat Islands
Situated on the northwestern of Papua New Guinea, Raja Ampat is one of the most stunning diving destinations in Indonesia. Raja Ampat in the indoensians language means ‘Four Kings’ – which represented the four major surrounded by turquoise lagoons beaches – Waigeo, Salawati, Misool, and Batanta. It is perhaps one of the best place to visit in Indonesia.
